BOB MYERS Julius Robert "Bob" Myers age 71 died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at his residence in Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Dan Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery near Millport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Bob was born on Tuesday, June 28, 1938 in Moncks Corner, SC to the late Ubie B. and Nettie Scott Myers. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a retired civil service employee at Columbus Air Force Base and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was in pastoral service throughout the South for nearly fifty years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, mechanical and construction hobbies, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
