David R. Upton Columbus Mississippi - David R. Upton 76 died May 27, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Mr. Upton was born on May 28, 1929 in Noxubee County MS to the late Thomas J. and Ruby Glenn Upton. He was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired in 1991 as a bookkeeper for over 30 years at Allied Steel Corporation. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Larry Upton and Glyn Upton. Graveside services will be Tuesday May 30, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Marvin Palmer. Visitation will be Tuesday 1 until 2 at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include Brothers: Thomas Upton (Blanche) of Columbus MS, Gene Upton (Doris) of Columbus MS, Richard Upton of Columbus MS. sister-in-laws- June Upton and Willie Upton both of Columbus 9 nephews and 3 nieces Pallbearers will be Don Upton, Tim Upton, Mike Upton, Frank Upton, Joe Upton, Ben Upton Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Upton, Eddie Upton, Daniel Upton, Brad Upton, Darrell Upton, Robert Ashcraft, Dempsey Hollis, Charles Hudson, Marvin Palmer, Mark Murphy, Ccu staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital.
