ALICE HITT CHAPPELL Alice Hitt Chappell Age 79 died January 6, 2008 at Homeplace Assisted Living in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 2:00 PM with George Lee and Daniel Farris Officiating burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Aliceville AL. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again from noon until service time Wednesday. Mrs. Chappell was born on January 10, 1928 in Boligee AL to the late R.I. and Alma McElroy Hitt. She was a graduate and valedictorian at Eutaw High School in Eutaw AL. She moved to Lowndes County in 1959 with her late husband Charles D. Chappell. She was a retired training supervisor for McCoy Manufacturing. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother Adrian Hitt. Son-Larry Chappell (Martha) of Steens, Miss. Son-Fred Chappell (Sue) of Caledonia, Miss.
