Jack Irvin Killman, age 86, of Columbus, MS, passed away July 27, 2012, at The Windsor Place. Funeral services will be Monday, July 30, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shelby Hazard officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2012, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Killman was born March 12, 1926, in Haines City, FL, to the late Kile Kirkland and Myrtle Marie Jones. He worked at various places for many years before retiring from Bryan Foods. Mr. Killman was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joel Michael Killman, brother, Louis Gene Killman, and sister, Faye Louise Killman. Survivors include his son, Jack Killman, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Johnson City, TN, daughters, Terry Killman of Columbus, MS, and Kay Bracknell and husband Joe of Albany, GA, grandchildren, Heather Elizabeth Killman of Denver, CO, and Kile Hardin Killman of Johnson City, TN, and great grandchild, Kyla Killman of Denver, CO. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
