"Phil" Hemby Age 59 died January 13, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Minister Larry Ferguson Officiating burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mr. Hemby was born on April 16, 1948 in Columbus to the late James Milton Hemby Sr. and Merle Shelton Hemby. He was a member of First Christian Church and a retired general manager for Hunter Distributing. He was an avid hamm radio operator. survivors include: Wife- Debra J. Hemby of Columbus Daughter-April Hemby of Dickson TN Mother-Merle S. Hemby of Columbus, Miss.
