Francis Joseph McGuigan, Jr. Age 88 died October 5, 2008 Died at Homeplace Assisted Living in Columbus, MS Graveside services with military honors will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Father Robert Dore Officiating. Memorial Gardens Mr. McGuigan was born on April 28, 1920 in Lawrence MA, to the late Francis Joseph and Edith Bletcher McGuigan Sr. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, and a retired production manager for Omnova (formally General Tire). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son-in-law Allen Hardy. Survivors include: Wife-Maureen M. McGuigan of Columbus, Miss. Daughter-Kathleen Yount (John Paul) Daughter-Mary Ann Hardy of Columbus, Miss. Son-Francis Joseph "Frank" McGuigan III (Elaine) of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Betty Lagana (Frankie) of Merrimack, N.H. Sister-Evelyn Wright (Walter) of Merrimack, N.H.
