LAVERNE WILLIAMS Laverne Coward Green Williams age 92 died Sunday, February 06, 2011 at Aurora Health & Rehab in Columbus. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 08, 2011 at 10:00 AM at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jearl Hunley officiating. Mrs. Williams was born on Friday, January 31, 1919 in Columbus to the late Levi Tyler and Ida Nixon Coward. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, graduate of Lee High School and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Edward Green and her 2nd husband John V. Williams. Survivors include: Daughters: Jan Gilliam, Columbus, MS Brenda Faine (Robert), Columbus, MS Step-Daughters: Beth Breckenridge, Ft. Myers, FL Joyce Pigott, Ft. Myers, FL Judy Brown (Tommy), Columbus, MS Step-Son: David Williams, Brooksville, MS 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren
