Robert A. Manning, age 74, died Thursday July 5, 2012 at his residence in Columbus. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Memorial Funeraal Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The son of the late Robert Manning and Jean M. Niklinski, Mr. Manning was born on October 30, 1937 in Chicago, IL. He was retired from Mississippi University for Women, where he was a professor in Graphic Design. He was predeceased by his father Robert Manning. He is survived by his wife, Ramphavee Thaseela Manning, and his mother Jean G. Moleski Niklinski, both of Columbus, MS; his sons Gregory Michael Manning of Malta, IL and Russell Alan Manning of Sugar Grove, IL and his step-son Tum Chananchai of Columbus.
