William Claude Sanders, Jr (Bill) passed away at his home at 125 Stapleton Drive Canton, MS on Saturday, July 5. Born November 30, 1959 to the late Margaret Weaver Sanders and Dr. William C. Sanders, he leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Lisa; his children Bill III, Austin, and Leah Louise; and granddaughter Raina Jefferson. He also leaves his sisters Claudia Sanders, Catherine Reach, Meg Winn; brothers John Sanders and Bruce Sanders; and joins his late sister Stephanie Sanders Pryor. Bill was a 1978 graduate of Heritage Academy and a state champion in the butterfly individual relay event swimming with the Columbus Swim Association. He attended Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi. He served in A Btry., 2D, 114FA MS Army National Guard, was a sales and marketing executive, and an entrepreneur.
