J.T. CONNER John Thomas "J.T." Conner age 84 died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at State Veterans Home in Kosciusko MS. Services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Butler and Rev. Tommy O'Dell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Egger Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Monday, December 14, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Conner was born on Thursday, May 14, 1925 in Millport, AL to the late John Henson and Nancy Smith Conner. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, and a self-employed painter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife Doris Conner, one daughter Anita McKee (Jeffrey), one sister Kathryn O'Dell and one brother: James E. Conner, all of Caledonia, MS and four grandchildren Amber Jones,Kayla McKee,Ryleigh McKee and Ashton McKee. The Pallbearers will be Dennis Aldridge, Jason Dyer, Jeff McKee, Mike Aldridge, Roger Bell, Jessie Steward. The Honorary Pallbearers will be Staff of State Veterans Home In Kosciusko, MS, Luther Foreman, Ray Dyer, Ronnie Burns, Dr. Gerry Jeffcoat, and all of his musician friends.
