Arnett Neil Beard age78, died Sunday, April 06, 2014 at his residence in Columbus. Services will be held Wednesday, April 09, 2014 at 11:00 AM. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Avery officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 08, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Beard was born on Monday, November 11, 1935 in Macon, MS to the late Samuel Arnett and Frances Wilkes Beard. He was a member and Deacon at Canaan Baptist Church, and a retired sales representative for Motor Supply Company. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and loved any activity that involved being outdoors. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Hilda June Glusenkamp.
