CANDY NELSON Sumiko "Candy" Nelson age 84 died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her residence in Columbus. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Carolyn Hulen officiating. Candy was born on Monday, January 03, 1927 in Nakakoma Japan, to the late Hideo and Yoshino Mochizuki. She was the sweetest mother and grandmother; she had a joyful and thankful spirit that touched everyone. She was a wonderful blessing from God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Lewis Nelson. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Shirley Markham, Columbus, MS Gloria Smith (Frank), Columbus, MS Two Sons: Jim Nelson (Jo Anne), Steens, MS Gerry Nelson (Diane), Columbus, MS 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the donors choice
