RICHARD A. NED BARNETTE Richard A. "Ned" Barnette Age 70 died February 17, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ron Thomas Officiating Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko MS. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mr. Barnette was born on August 29, 1936 in Leake County MS to the late Richard Calvin and Carmen Hayes Barnette. He was a member of Broadacres United Methodist Church and retired for Jefferies Steel and Johnson Truck Leasing. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed attending 12-Man Supper Club and Chitterling Club meetings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Kerlyn Barnette. Survivors include: Wife-of 52 years Lella C. Barnette of Columbus, Miss. Sister-Peggy Smith of Carthage, Miss. Sister-Janice Bell of Kosciusko, Miss. Sister-Sharon Busby of Jasper, Ala.
