Columbus, Ms - Frances Harrison Stokes 86 died June 19, 2006 at residence,Columbus, Ms. Mrs. Stokes was born on March 4, 1920 in Columbus to the late Kenneth Johnson and Ora Morris Harrison. She was member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a member and teacher of the Senior Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a retired nurse at Columbus Hospital. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years William Clay Stokes, her infant daughter Frances Stokes, and two brothers K.H. Harrison Jr. and Authur B. Harrison. Funeral services will be Wednesday June 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Grisham officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include Daughter: Rebecca S. McGee (Jack) of Steens, Ms; Sons: Kenneth C. Stokes (Loyce) of Grenada, MS, William B. Stokes of Pensacola, Fl; 2 Grandchildren: Nicole Watkins (Nicholas) of Columbus, Ms and Marcus McGee of Hollywood, Ca; Sisters: Jeonette Pendley (Hollis) of West Point, Ms, Juanita Brown (James) of Steens, Ms, Sister-In-Law: Mozzelle Lollar of Columbus, Ms, Sister-In-Law: Kate Frisby of Columbus, Ms. Pallbearers will be Deacons at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adult Men's and Womens Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 1383 Pleasant Hill Td Columbus,Ms 39702
