THOMAS VERNON RUSHING Thomas Vernon Rushing Age 76 died September 11, 2006 at the State Veterans Nursing Home in Kosciusko, MS Services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Gardner Officiating burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Hamilton MS Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mr. Rushing was born on January 12, 1930 in Longview Ms to the late John William and Rose Freshour Rushing. He was a retired employee of Cole Refrigeration and a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Ludie Mae Wallace Rushing, his 2nd wife Katherine "Kathy" Rushing, one son Gary Rushing, one sister Nettie Parker, and two brothers Junior Rushing and J.C. Rushing. survivors include: Daughter-Linda Medeiros of Panama City, Fla. Daughter-Abby Beasley of Shreveport, La. Daughter-Derevia "Dee" Spinks (Nathan) of Conyers, Ga. Son-Mitchell Rushing of Starkville, Miss. Sister-Margie McCain (W.G.) of Tomnolen, Miss. Brother-Carl Rushing (Joyce) of Crawford, Miss. Brother-David Rushing (Estelle) of Columbus, Miss. Brother-Amos Rushing of Columbus, Miss.
