Helen Reeves Simons age 70 died Friday, October 29, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Services will be held Tuesday, November 02, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Church with Rev. James Gardner officiating, burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Living Faith Tabernacle Monday, November 01, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Simons was born on Monday, September 23, 1940 in Kemper County, MS to the late Elmer and Laura Charlton Reeves. She was a member of Living Faith Tabernacle Church and a former employee of Seminole Manufacturing and the Needle. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Earl, Edward, and Roger Reeves, and her sister Margie Bailey. Survivors include: Husband- Arnie Simon, Columbus MS One Daughter: Betty Jo Nickoles, Columbus, MS Two Sons: Billy Joe Nickoles, Columbus, MS John E. Thurmond, Columbus, MS One Sister: Cora B. Perrigin , Columbus, MS One Brother: Benford Reeves, Columbus, MS Two Grand Children: Scarlet Leighann Nickoles Tera Ann Vann . The Pallbearers will be: Dewayne Harrison, Billy Joe Nickoles, Lester Bailey, Bobby Simons, Robert Perrigin, Johnny Suggs The Honorary Pallbearers will be: John Wayne Grammer, David Phelps, Kenneth Phelps, Bobby Nickoles, Johnny Suggs, Jr., Steven Harrison, Dr. Brad Brown, Dr. Jerry Stennett, Dr. Bart Williams, Dr. Naseer Khan, Dr. Lance Busch, Staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle, and former employees of Seminole Manufacturing.
