Frances B. Hughes, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. Frances was born July 27, 1939 in Columbus Mississippi to Buck and Miriam Blasingame. She was a longtime resident of San Benito and was employed at General Dynamics and through the change to Lockheed Martin. There are few people in life who truly love their work and their company as much as Frances did. She cared and was truly dedicated. She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Howard E. Hughes, Son: Charles (Buck) Hughes and Grandson: Kyle Andrew Hughes, Brother: William (Bill) and sister-in-law: Jo Blasingame. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace. Funeral Services and interment will be at Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church and cemetery in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday, March 31, 2007.
