Columbus Mississippi - Lovie E. Sparks 85 died February 20, 2006 at Aurora Australis lodge. Mrs. Sparks was born on October 2, 1920 in Millport Alabama to the late David Paul and Eppie Lee McDaniel Bryant. She was employed by Hardin's Bakery and married Buford D. Sparks in 1945. She later retired from Sanderson Plumbing after 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Buford D. Sparks, 2 sisters Dora Mae Sims, and Earline Bryant, and one brother Walter Bryant Funeral services will be Friday February 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Bobby Douglas and Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 until service time at Memorial Funeral Home.. Survivors include Daughters: Linda Ann Mitchell (Ronald) of Gilbert, Az, Diane Taloney (Mike) of Columbus, Ms. Sons: Buford D. Sparks Jr of Reform, Al, James Sparks (Cindy) of Columbus, Ms, Franklin H. Sparks (Tracey) of Santa Maria 9 Grandchildren: Michael (Tony) Taloney (Gennifer), Rhona D. Henry (Jeff), Justin F. Taloney, Nathan Sparks, David Sparks, Nicole Sparks, Rebecca Sparks, Michael Sparks, and James Andrew Sparks 1 Great Grandchild: Chandler Taloney, and one sister Jo Ann Barnes of Caledonia MS. Pallbearers will be Bill Bryant, Joe Barnes, Tony Taloney, Justin Taloney, Jeff Henry, Nathan Sparks. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Bryant, Ron Mitchell, Wesley Platt, Randy Lytle .
