Columbus Mississippi - Albin Evan "Dude" Johnson Jr. age 80 died February 22, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Mr. Johnson Jr. was born on October 18, 1925 in Marion Alabama to the late Albin Evan and Ida Pearl Stephens Johnson Sr. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, the founder of Johnson Truck Leasing, and a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. Funeral services will be Friday February 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. from Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Paul McDonald officiating. Visitation will be Thursday February 23, 2006 6 until 8 at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include his Wife of 56 years Doris R. Johnson of Columbus, Son: Al Johnson III and his wife Susan of Columbus. Grandchildren: Allison Elizabeth Johnson, Abbey Margaret Johnson, Charles Evan Johnson. Pallbearers will be Chuck Cook, Wayne Parker, Bubba Pullen, Hank Gunter, Jim Thompson, Emmet Boozer . Honorary Pallbearers will be Tillman Parker, Fayette Burns, Thomas Upton, Ralph Youngblood, David Price, Mark Pridmore.
