LaDONNA PETTIT LaDonna V Mimi Pettit age 76 died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Services will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mickey Dalrymple officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Pettit was born on Saturday, November 17, 1934 in Great Falls, MT to the late Edmund and Pearl Benson Carter. LaDonna went to high school in Great Falls, then worked at Diana Hughes as an assistant manager and window designer. She was a Corp Cadet in the Salvation Army. In 1952 she married the late Edward Eugene Pettit. In 1959 they moved to Columbus where she was employed at United Technologies where she retired after 38 years in January of 2000. Her hobbies included writing short stories and artistry. Survivors include: One Daughter: Yvonne Barron (Dave), Columbus, MS One Son: Audie Pettit (Brenda), Columbus, MS Two Sisters: Shirley Hilbig, Great Falls, MT Patti Jo Whitten (Dean) Milford, KS Two Brothers: Edmund "Skip" Carter (Annie), Albuquerque, NM Glenn Wilcox, Kalispell, MT Four Grandchildren: Delaina McCraw (Matt) Lauren Richardson (Matt) Susan Barron Trey Warrington 3 Great Grandchildren: Hildie McCraw Mattie McCraw James David McCraw . The Pallbearers will be: Paul Guerry, Larry Long, Hal Truitt, Chris Crawley, Jim Armstrong, and Reed Cooper
