ED DVORAK Edward Joseph "Ed" Dvorak age 56 died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus. Services will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Caledonia Church of Christ with Minister Shane Meredith officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Ed was born on Wednesday, February 23, 1955 in Cedar Rapids, IA to the late Florian and Mary Alice Sevier Dvorak. He was a member of the Caledonia Church of Christ and a retired U.S. Air Force Tech Sergeant with 20 years of service. During his military service he earned several medals and achievements. He worked 18 years as a corrosion control specialist at Dyncorp, Columbus Air Force Base. He had a love for Nascar and riding his motorcycle. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
