GLOVER FREEMAN Thomas Glover T.G. Freeman age 93 died Monday, November 30, 2009 at The Care Center of Vernon in Vernon, AL. Services will be held Friday, December 04, 2009 at 10:00 AM from Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Columbus, MS with Rev. Ben Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, December 03, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Freeman was born on Saturday, June 24, 1916 in Caledonia, MS to the late Erwyn Julious and Ollie Henderson Freeman. He graduated as Valedictorian from Artesia High School. He attended Holmes Junior College and The University of Southern Mississippi on full football scholarships. He received his Bachelor of Science in History Education from Southern Mississippi and a Master of Science Degree in School Administration from Mississippi State University. He was a U.S. Army Corporal in the 115th Field Artillery Battalion during WWII. Through the years he was a teacher, coach, principal, and administrator in the schools in Aberdeen, MS and Caledonia, MS. He was a business owner and an avid farmer. He was a member of Caledonia United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Gladis Myers Freeman, sister Jewel Brown, and brothers, Earl, Hurd, and Carey Freeman. Survivors includehis four daughters Brenda Robinson (Wayne), Vernon, AL, Nancy Breaux (Frank), Saltillo, MS, Patty Barron, Hoover, AL, and Judy Fulgham (Curtis), Starkville, MS, two sisters Addie Friedman, Greenfield, OH Claydeen Allen, Amory, MS, and one brother Bradford Freeman, Caledonia, MS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren Matt Breaux, David Breaux, Will Breaux, Danielle Passmore (Jason), Jon Barron, Kasey Fulgham, Rachel Eubanks (Brandon),Sarah Hughes (Scott),and four great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff of The Care Center of Vernon. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Egger Cemetery Fund c/o W.M. Egger P.O.
