Oma Lee Pierce died Sunday December 3, 2006 at Windsor Place in Columbus. Visitation is Tuesdau December 5, 2006 from 12:30 to 1:30p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Graveside services are at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Pierce was born in Marion County, Al, the daughter of Francis Marion Stevens and Margaret Elizabeth Summerford Stevens She spent her adult life in Amory and columbus. She ws the last surviving sibling of four sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Pierces was preceded in death by her husbands, Oren Knight of Amory, and Charles Ellington Pierce of Columbus. She is survived by her two daughters, Nora Knight Johnson (David) of Jackson, and Martha Knight Wallis (Bob) of Columbus; a step-son, Charles Pierce of Wakefield, Rhode Island; and step daughter, Sandra Pierce of Laurel, Ms; 3 grandchildren, Leigh and Chris Johnson of Jackson, and Robert Wallis and his wife April of Natchez; two step-grandchildren, Darren and Amy Pierce; 3 step-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Philwood Suites at Windsor Place or to a charity of the donor's choice.
