John Freeman Seay

John Freeman Seay Age 86 died July 8, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. Services will be held at Fairview Baptist Church on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sammy Crawford and Rev. Tommy Gillon Officiating burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Mr. Seay was born on February 10, 1922 in Lamar County Alabama to the late Jeptha Freeman and Minnie Lou Newell Seay. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, worked for Fletcher Motors for over 30 years and retired from the Lowndes County School System as Superintendent of Transportaion. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and met daily with at McDonald's East with his Coffee Club buddies. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Elsie Ross Seay, one sister Neva Ransopher, and two brothers Samuel Seay and Marvin Seay. John Seay will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include: Brother-Robert Seay of Collierville, Tenn. Sister-Hazel Duran of Phoenix, Ariz. Sister-Sarah Ann Randall of Clinton Township, Mich. Sister-Barbara King of Avoca, Mich. Pallbearer-J. W.
