CHARLES O. SMITH Charles O'Conner Smith, age 68, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his residence in Columbus. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery with Brother James Gardner officiating. Charles was born on June 13,1941 in Columbus to the late Ralph and Hattie Hodge Smith. He was a retired butcher. Survivors include: His wife Carolyn Maples Smith Columbus MS Three Daughters: Lavada Brown, Columbus, MS Mica Smith, Branson, MO Cheryl Stanley, Laport, IN One Son: Michael Baskin, Lynchburg, VA One Sister: Jean Lewis, Pontotoc, MS and twelve grandchildren - Mica and Michael Baskin, Kyle and Kristin Stanley, Kayla Moore, Chad, Kramer, Lynette, Candace, Silas, Corban and Gracie Smith.
