MARGIE WALDEN Margie Lucille Walden Age 89 died April 13, 2009 at Trinity Healthcare Center. Services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Steve Lammons and Rev. Ralph Windle Officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mrs. Walden was born on June 15, 1919 in Ethelsville, AL to the late W.A. and Minnie Jacobs Hammett. She was a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired seamstress at Seminole Manufacturing Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Walden, her son Larry Houston Walden, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
