Margie Nell Dunnam Margie Nell Dunnam 81 years of age passed away at her residence in Columbus, Ms. on December 6, 2011. Nell was born April 15th, 1930 in Millport, Al. to Leland Collins (Doc) and Tommie Byars. She was a devoted loving wife and wonderful Mother who loved spending time with her family. She loved working in her yard, feeding the birds and enjoyed other hobbies such as quilting and making Christmas ornaments for her family and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbus. Nell (Momma) will be missed so very much by all of us, but we know that she is now truly at Home and with Jesus. In addition to her parents, Leland Collins Byars and Tommie Byars Atkins she is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Franklin Dunnam. Nell is survived by her six children Patti Walden (Gary) Cordova, Tn. " Debbie Whitten (Ronnie) Germantown, Tn. " Susie Haugen (Doug) Acworth, Ga. " Bill Dunnam (Sandy) Columbus, Ms. " Tammy Meier (Scott) Winter Springs, Fl. " Sally Dunnam (Craig) Schaumburg, Il. Grandchildren: Tanner, Laura Beth, Lindsay, Carly, Wesley, Daniel, James. Great Grandchildren: Parker, Hunter, Blake, Madison. Brother - Stanley Byars, Sister - Marie Doughty and many wonderful nieces and nephew. Funeral will be Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 1:00 pm. at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Pallbearers: Ronnie Whitten, Tanner Whitten, Scott Meier, Wesley Dunnam, Daniel Dunnam, James Dunnam. Honorary Pallbearers: Gary Walden, Doug Haugen, Craig Haukedahl, Robert Doughty, Bruce Doughty, Doyle Brown.
