Columbus, MS - James "Andy/Sunny" Howard Andrews 78 died May 12, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital GT,Columbus, MS. Mr. Andrews was born January 16, 1928 in Caledonia, Ms to the late James L. Andrews and Louise Kendrick. He attended Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a timekeeper for ILA local 1351. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen House Andrews; one sister, Annelle Chalker; 3 sons, Jerry Lynn, Terry Wayne, and Donald James; and one grandaughter, Emily Dawn. Funeral services will be Monday May 15, 2006 at 11:00 am graveside with the Bro. Charlie Studdard officiating. Visitation will be Sunday May 14, 2006 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Survivors include Daughter: Janice Smith of Caledonia, Ms; Step daughter: Kay Smith (Jim) of Columbus, MS; Sons: Larry Andrews (Judy) of Long View, Tx; Step son: Rusty House (Tracy) of Columbus, Ms; 4 Grandchildren: Brian Smith (Roxanne) of Tupelo, MS, Charlene Smith of Caledonia, MS, Christopher Andrews of Arlington, Tx, and Amy Crane (KC) of Texas; 5 Step-grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; and Sister: Mary Golliheair of Columbus, Ms. Pallbearers will be Leon Bell, Leroy Nickels, Jim Smith, David Herrington, Joe Studdard, and Rusty House. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Dove, Wayne Smith, Wayne Duncan, Dewayne Perkins, Jason Clark, and Hoot West.
