CHARLES D. HOWELL Charles David Howell age 63 died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at his residence in El Paso, TX. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shawn Parker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mr. Howell was born on June 3, 1945 in Fayette,Alabama to the late Duster H. and Gertrude Treadaway Howell. He attended Caledonia High School and was a Seaman in the Merchant Marines traveling around the world many times visiting major seaports. During the Vietnam War he was in and out of that country supplying weapons to our troops. Survivors include his brother Frank Howell (Kathy) of Columbus, Sister Mary A. Myers of Brownsville TX, and Sister Mary M. Smith (Ronnie) of Chesapeake VA. and several nieces and nephews.
