BETH WRIGHT Elbethel Hannah "Beth" Wright, age 87, of Columbus, MS, passed away March 15, 2011, at The Windsor Place. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Albert Wilkerson officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Wright was born August 12, 1923, in Palmetto, AL, to the late John Thomas and Loutishie McGarity Hannah. She was a graduate of Palmetto High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wright worked at Seminole Manufacturing for a number of years and also worked as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and bridge. Survivors include her son, Jerry Wright and his wife Nancy of Columbus, MS, daughter, Patsy Slankard of Memphis, TN, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the East End Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
