Barry Alexander Weston, age 81, of Mantee, MS died August 7, 2013 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. A private, family memorial service will be held at a later time in Mantee. The son of the late George and Dorothy Alison Weston, Mr. Weston was born November 19, 1931 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Before he became a naturalized U.S. citizen, he served from 1949-1955 in the Canadian Army, in Canada and the Far East. He married Brenda F. Oglesby Wallace of Columbus in West Monroe, LA on August 2, 1986. He was employed by JWI as a salesman for 36 years, retiring in 1995. He is survived by his wife Brenda F. Weston of Mantee, MS, his daughter Sandra Weston of Wetumpka, AL , his sister Dorothy De La Fosse of Toronto, Ontario Canada and four stepchildren Todd Wallace of Union Springs, AL, Marty Wallace of Columbus, Jed Wallace of Camden, TN and Gaye Wilson of Mantee, MS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Alli Omelia, Hannah Weston, Drew Wallace, Erin Wallace, Lyndee Wallace, Jack Wilson and Luke Wilson and two great-grandchildren Jon Rhodes and Ethan Rhodes.
