KENNETH STAFFORD Kenneth W. Stafford, age 71, of Columbus, MS, passed away January 9, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating. Vistation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2012, from 9:00 AM until 10;00 am at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mr. Stafford was born April 19, 1940, in Columbus, MS, to the late C. E. and Irin Henley Stafford. He was a lifeong resident of Columbus, MS, and retired from Seminole Manufacturing after 35 years. Mr. Stafford was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and loved Ole Miss and all sports. He is survived by his brother, Charles Stafford and his wife Mary Ann of Columbus, MS, and nephews, Mike Stafford, Mark Stafford, and Andy Stafford. Pallbearers will be Mike Stafford, Mark Stafford, Andy Stafford, Dylan Stafford, Ron Stafford, Dallas Josey, Lee Younger, and Tom Younger. Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Hanson, Dr. Jan McClanahan, Dr. Chris Lebrun, and the nurses and staff of the ER and ICU of Baptist Memorial Hospital.
