JIMMY TURNER Jimmy Dawin Turner age 73 died Thursday January 6, 2011 at his residence in Columbus. Graveside services will be held Monday January 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Lynn Ronaldi officiating. Visitation will be held Monday beginning at noon until 1:30 p.m. Jimmy was born on August 16, 1937 in Monroe County, MS to the late William W. and Mable Walker Turner Sr. He attended Franklin Academy and S.D. Lee High School. He was the manager of Kenny Shoe Store in Augusta, GA, San Mateo, CA, and Spokane, WA. He was President of W&D Warehouse and Distributing Compay in Atlanta, GA. He later became a truck driver for Brown Trucking Company in Atlanta. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Dawson. Survivors include: Wife- Ouida Nell Turner of Columbus Step-Children- Tammy Babb Timothy and Gary Booth Brother- William W. Turner Jr. (Nancy) of Palacios, TX Nieces and Nephews- Tina Williamson Timothy Williamson Keith Knight Ricky Dawson Michael Dawson Uncle- A.P. Turner Jr. (Katherine) of North Augusta, SC And a host of cousins, nieces and nephews
