Fausteen Shepherd Powell
October 23, 1924 — January 10, 2014
The daughter of the late Roscoe C. and Eppie Jane Foster Shepherd, Mrs. Powell was born October 23, 1924 in Columbus. She retired from United Technologies. She was a longtime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the Joy Ladies Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Howard G. Powell, brothers R. C. Shepherd, Jr. and Bob Shepherd, daughter-in-law Sharron Landrum Powell, son-in-law Clay Renfroe and granddaughter Kelly Powell Hill.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her daughters and son-in-lawBarbaranne Powell Deason and Jimmy Deasonof Columbus and Marilyn Renfroe of Raymond, MS and her sons and daughters-in-law Charles W. and Linda Powell of Columbus and Scott and Robin Powell of Pike Road, AL. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren Tara Deason Bushand Stacy, Keilan and Dorine Deason, Casey Powell, Kyndle Powell, Christopher and Jessica Renfroe, Amy Renfroe Russum and Scott, Emily Powell, Ben Powell, and Graham Powell and by her seven great-grandchildren Kyla Powell, Fallon Hill, Jasper Deason, Austin Bush, Clayton Russum, Gunner Russum and Payton Renfroe and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Keilan Deason, Casey Powell, Christopher Renfroe, Ben Powell, Graham Powell, Ricky Shepherd, Tommy Powell and Jasper Deason.
