Thomas Cecil "Pete" Crump, Jr., age 72, of Steens, MS, passed away February 22, 2013, at his residence. Graveside services will be Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Millport, AL, with Rev. Walter Butler officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 23, 2013, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mr. Crump was born December 14, 1940, in Brooksville, MS, to the late Thomas Cecil and Eunice Harmon Crump. He worked as a truck driver for many years and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his son, Thomas Allan Crump and his wife Delores of Steens, MS, daughter, Barbara Tenney of Steens, MS, sisters, Emma Jean Tripplett of Starkville, MS, and Agnes Louise Weathers of FL, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
