Larry Wayne McBride age 62 died Friday, November 13, 2009 at his residence in Columbus. Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday November 15, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Melvin Mordecai officiating. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Larry was born on Thursday, June 26, 1947 in Columbus, MS to the late James S. McBride and Mary Katherine Jones McBride. He was self-employed as a painter, an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include: wife-Rita Fay Brown McBride Columbus MS His mother: Mary Katherine Jones Perry of Tupelo Three Sons: Larry Wayne McBride, Columbus, MS Richard McBride, Caledonia, MS Michael McBride, Columbus, MS Two Daughters: Catherine Jackson, Mobile, AL Amanda Hays, Columbus, MS One Sister: Mary Ann Box, Tupelo, MS And several grandchildren
