Mrs. Edna Pauline Garrison, age 92, died September 6, 2009 at Windsor Place in Columbus. Graveside Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Bob Hickman officiating. The interment will follow at Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Garrison was born October 8, 1916 in Morgan County, AL to the late Chesley V. and Hattie Aldridge Yancy. She was a member of Columbus Church of Christ and retired from American Bosch. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wyman Garrison; daughter, Lurlene Simpson; grandson, Marvin Hugh Pogue, Jr. and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Murlene Pogue (Marvin) of Carrollton, AL; grandson, Daryl Pogue (Deana) of Carrollton, AL; grandson, Gary Simpson; granddaughters, Beth and Sarah Simpson; sisters, Opal Burns and Rachel Bailey both of Athens, AL; and six great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be William & Billie Russell and members of Columbus Church of Christ.
