Mildred Irene Mason age 94 died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at her residence in Steens. Services will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Lone Oak Church of Christ with Minister Eddie Lawson and Minister Steven Webber officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
Mrs. Mason was born on Tuesday, November 25, 1919 in MS to the late Jeff and Lessie Irene Taylor Polk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Marshall W. Mason, her sisters Earline Newman, and Lera Mae Bailey, and her brother Earl Polk.She was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ for over 50 years, and a retired employee of Seminole Manufacturing Company.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, great niecesand nephews, and great -great niecesand nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jim Nelson, Taylor Stephens, Mark Mason, Will Mason, Daniel Adams, and Keith Mitchell.Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of Lone Oak Church of Christ, Staff of Baptist Hospice, and her caregivers.
