Don Marie "Diane" Goforth, age 83 died March 29, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Healthcare-Golden Triangle. A Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 am Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Robert Dore, celebrant and Gunter and Peel Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus, MS. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday, April 1, 2013 at Gunter and Peel Funeral Home. Mrs. Goforth was born April 3, 1929 in Milwakee, WI to the late Stanislaus and Mary Hoffman Bugnacki. She retired from First Columbus National Bank with 30 years of service and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Diane loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was very happy spending time with them whenever possible. She also loved gardening, watching and feeding birds, knitting, reading and working crossword puzzles. Diane also loved to spend time with her special friends, Dot Holliday, Peggy Hill, Gen Gigler, Judy & Jerry Ensley and Mildred Forby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years whom she always lovingly call "Honey" Harvey L. Goforth; son, Scott Goforth, and 12 siblings. She leaves to cherrish her memory daughter, Marie G. Curtis of Fayetteville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Alan S. and Debra Goforth of Ethersville, AL; daughter-in-law, Mary D. Goforth of Thomasville, AL; son-in-law, Paul J. Curtis of Houston, TX; brother, Stanley Bugnacki (Bunny) of Caledonia, WI; grandchildren, Jenifer Kimbrough, Natalie Hutto, Heather Lancaster, Amy Stennett and Shane Goforth; 10 great grandchildren and her loyal and loving pet Mindy. Pallbearers will be Steve Goforth, Mike Jaynes, Dave Lewandowski, Lamar Kemp, Kannon Hutto and Blake Lancaster. Honoray pallbeares will be Dr. Michael Duckworth, Dr. Ann Lewis, Curry Freeman, Jerry Ensley, Aaron Hill, William Kimbrough and Josh Stennett.
