Mary Ann Fugitt, age 51, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital " Golden Triangle. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Services will be Monday, May 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with the Reverends Tony Proctor and Curtis Petrey, officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at First Methodist. Her body will be cremated after the service. Born in Tulsa, OK on December 2, 1959, Mrs. Fugitt was the daughter of the late Donald Trenor and Martha Jane Filgo Trenor. She grew up in Houston, Ms, graduating from high school there. She served as administrative assistant to Rev. Tony Proctor at Central United Methodist Church and was a former member of Trinity Church. For approximately 20 years, she was employed by Community Counseling Services as a Relief Care Worker at Cady Hills. She was predeceased by her father, Donald Trenor. Mrs. Fugitt is survived by her husband Bobby H. Fugitt and her mother Martha Jane Trenor, both of Columbus. She is also survived by her daughters Kimberly Chambliss (Thomas Stillman) of Hattiesburg, MS, Kelly Wala (Dody) of Belleville, MI and Mary Elizabeth Fugitt of Columbus, her sister Shelly Shaw(Sid) of West Point, MS, brothers Jack Trenor (Sherrie) of Lima, OH and Gregg Trenor (Dana) of Colleyville, TX , her step-mother Virginia Trenor of Aberdeen, MS and granddaughters Callen Cook, Bella Wala and Sophia Wala and grandsons Connor Chambliss and Gabriel Wala.
