Eugene C. Goodman, age 74, entered into eternal rest with his loving wife at his side, at his residence in Vernon, AL on August 1,2009. A memorial service will be Thursday, Ausust 6, 2009 at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Rev. Ed Knox officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mr. Goodman was born October 10, 1934 in Columbus, MS to the late Dudley and Opal Nicholes Goodman. He is survived by his soulmate and wife, Della Goodman, children, Bryant, Amy, Michelle, Jeff, Maria, Renee', Kim,Pamela, Kimberley, Earl, Melanie, Randy, James, and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and brother, George Goodman. He is also preceded in death by daughters, Jackie and Gail. Mr. Goodman was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all the lives he touched.
