Imogene Carr Webb, age 80, of Columbus, MS, went to be with our Lord on, Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2013, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Webb was a resident of Bedford Suites, at Plantation Pointe of Columbus, MS. She was born in Vernon, AL on May 4, 1933. She loved and cherished her family and friends. She loved tending her flowers and garden. She was a lifetime member of Friendship Baptist Church in Vernon, AL. Her last years of church attendance were at Evangel Church, Columbus, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. A. Webb, mother Dockie Lee Carr, and father, Arthur Carr, five brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Webb is survived by two daughters, Doris "Sam" Bales (John) of West Point, MS, Vickey Evans of Columbus, MS, grandsons, Kevin Evans (Kristi) of Columbus, MS, Scott Bales (Erika) of Memphis, TN, Brett Bales (Jennifer) of Orlando, FL, granddaughter, Jennifer James (Jimmy) of Longbeach, MS, great grandsons, Colton Evans, Caden Evans, Boston Bales, Pearson Bales, Flynn James and Tommy Bales, and great granddaughters, Olivia Bales and Lorean Bales.
