JOHNNIE SARCONE Johnnie Duncan Sarcone, age 94, of Cleveland, MS, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away January 25, 2012, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, MS. Graveside services will be Friday, January 27, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS. Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2012, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mrs. Sarcone was born March 3, 1917, in Caledonia, MS, to the late Dudley and Ola Jane Swanzey Duncan. She worked for many years as a beautician at the Flora-Grace Beauty Shop in Columbus. She was a member of Main Street Presbyterian Church and in addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sarcone and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Sarcone of Cleveland, MS, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be family members. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
