Kathryn Emma Woodcock Cooper, 89 of Columbus and Starkville went to be with her heavenly Father and her late husband, Robert Carl Cooper on Dec. 22, 2011. She was born in Cautersport, Pa. July 11, 1922 She was a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church for many years and attended First Presbyterian Church Starkville for the past 8 years. She was active in the Daughters of American Revolution and a faithful wife and loving mother and grandmother. She leaves two sons, Dennis Cooper of Sierra Vista, AZ, his wife Jane and grandson Scott of Los Angeles, Ca. and Robert Cooper of Starkville and his wife, Debbie and grandchildren Ben Cooper of Starkville, Adam Cooper of Jackson, Ms and Elizabeth Cooper Wagner and husband Jon Wagner of Columbia, S.C. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday Dec. 27, 2011 at Memorial Gardens in Columbus. The service will be conducted by Rev. Jon Wagner of Columbia, SC and Dr. Olin W. McBride of Starkville. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to First Presbyterian Church,307 University Dr., Starkville, MS 39759, Palmer Home for Children, P.O. Box 746, Columbus, MS 39703 and Wesley United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 2511, Columbus, MS 39704.
