Frances Marie Schooley Garner, 87 of Columbus, MS died August 7, 2009 at her residence. Services for Mrs. Garner will be 2:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Dalrymple officiating and Rev. Sammie Crawford assisting. Interment will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Aberdeen, MS. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Garner was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church and the Stella Pratt Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Roy I. Garner and her brother; Shirley Schooley. She is survived by her sons, Robert " Bobby" J. Garner (Marilyn) of Columbus, MS and Sterling H. Garner of Marietta, GA; daughter, Frances Eugenia "Gene" Knight (John) of Columbus, MS; sister, Lee Rasor of Atlanta, GA; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Pallbearer will be Sidney Thompson, Tony Meeker, Walter Lann, Phil Pratt, Harold Schurm, Kenneth Linton, Carlos Martinez and Allen Shots.
