WILBURN LOGAN - James Wilburn Logan, age 74, of Steens, MS, passed away November 21, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Eddie Lawson officiating and Elbert Wheat assisting. The interment will immediately follow at Lone Oak Cemetery in Steens, MS. Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2012, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mr. Logan was born November 2, 1938, in Steens, MS, to the late Thomas Leroy and Lovertis Miller Logan. He was a life long resident of Steens, MS, and worked for many years as an auto mechanic for Charles Bush Auto Service and Allen Jones Used Cars. Mr. Logan was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ and loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Logan. Survivors include his wife, Margie Gardner Logan of Steens, MS, sister, Ann Mordecai of Steens, MS, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Eric Denney, Chris Denney, Frankie Pugh, Tyler Pugh, Dalton Pugh, Cody Pugh, Ashley Baker, and Wayne Logan. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Lone Oak Church of Christ, Richie Wilson, and James Guin.
