LLOYD LOGAN - William Lloyd Logan, age 65, of Steens, MS, died March 4, 2010, at his son's residence in Steens, MS. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 2:00 PM at the First Pentecostal Church with Rev. Steve Blaylock, Rev. Phillip Blaylock, and Rev. Stan Blaylock officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Sulligent, AL. Visitation was Saturday, March 6, 2010, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the First Pentecostal Church. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Logan was born September 2, 1944, in Steens, MS, to the late Leroy and Lovertice Miller Logan. He worked as a mechanic and truck driver during his working career and he attended Peoples Taberncle Church in Sulligent, AL. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Blaylock Logan of Steens, MS, sons, Tony Logan and Tommy Logan, both of Steens, brother, Wilburn Logan of Steens, sister, Ann Mordecai of Steens, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Greg Hall, Darren Blaylock, Tommy Blaylock, Chuck Dennis, Damon Blaylock, and Dale Blaylock.
