Anita Faye Johnson Moore, age 54, of Columbus, MS, passed away October 16, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday, October 18, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Chapel with Rev. Steve Jackson officiating and Rev. Clark Richardson assisting. The interment will immediately follow at Forest Cemetery in Pickens County, AL. Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2013, one hour prior to the service at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Mrs. Moore was born October 29, 1958, in Pell City, AL, to D. C. Johnson and the late Ouida Andrews. She was a graduate of Oxford, AL, High School and a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, William Gary Moore of Columbus, MS, father, D. C. Johnson and his wife Millie of Chelsea, AL, sons, John Paul Halechko and Joey Halechko, both of Columbus, MS, step-son, Chris Moore of Columbus, MS, step-daughter, Tammy Davis of Hueytown, AL, sister, Ouida Gaye Gordon of Birmingham, AL, and 4 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Larry Smith, Barry Goode, Richard Hollaway, Robbie Robertson, Paul Greggs, and Jerry Gilmer. Honorary pallbeaers will be Tom Thompson, Larry Gilmer, and Tommy Gilmer.
