WAYNE ZILIAK Wayne Conrad Ziliak, age 78, of Columbus, MS, passed away June 22, 2011, at his residence. Graveside services will be Friday, June 24, 2011, at 9:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Father Robert Dore officiating and Gunter & Peel Funeral Home directing. Mr. Ziliak was born October 27, 1932, in Evansville, IN, to the late Conrad Allen and Emily M. Platz Ziliak. He was a graduate of Evansville University where he received his masters degree in engineering. Mr. Ziliak was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the United States Air Force. He was of the Catholic faith and worked for many years as plant facilities engineer for Sanderson Plumbing. He is survived by his friend and caregiver, David Hutcherson of Columbus, MS. Honorary pallbeares will be will be former employees from the maintenance department of Sanderson Plumbing.
