Shirley Hudson Hunt, age 71, of Columbus, MS, passed away May 31, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be private with Gunter & Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hunt was born September 27, 1942, in Clarke County, MS, to the late Joseph Wendell and Irene Goldman Hudson. She was retired from the State of Mississippi Employment Service. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Carl Hunt of Columbus, MS. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity
